10th Annual Mother Son Dance at the Moon

The Tallahassee Southside Club of Rotary International proudly announces the 6th Annual Mother-Son Dance. The Tallahassee Southside is pleased to continue to service tradition and history of Rotary International by hosting an exciting evening honoring mother and their sons.

This event complements the Daddy-Daughter Dance by our sister Tallahassee Northside Rotary International Club. Rotary is concerned for the youth of our community, and we are hosting this event as a forum to nurture and encourage future leaders.

This is the major fundraiser project for the Tallahassee Southside Rotary Club. Proceeds will go to support the local programs of the Club, such as Rotary Youth Camp, Thanksgiving Dinner for University students, international exchange students, the Palmer Munroe Restorative Justice Teen Center, as well as District-wide and International programs of Rotary International. Rotary International is poised to see the elimination of Polio, as we continue support for potable water project in impoverish communities, diabetes and obesity control, Rotary Youth Exchange, among others.

Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

Rotary club membership represents a cross-section of the community's business and professional men and women. The world's Rotary clubs meet weekly and are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds.

Rotary membership provides the opportunity to: Become connected to your community. Work with others in addressing community needs. Interact with other professionals in your community; assist with RI's international humanitarian service efforts. Establish contacts with an international network of professionals. Develop leadership skills. Involve family in promoting service efforts.

$500 - ¼ page recognition on the website with business logo and link, a Certificate of Appreciation, and reserved seating.

The Rotary Club of Tallahassee Southside will recognize individual donations of at least $100 on the organization’s website.
